Who we are
This policy explains how Special Fruit processes the personal data received through this website, in accordance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018, LGPD).
Special Fruit, headquartered at Rodovia Juazeiro–Curaçá, km 18 · Juazeiro, Bahia, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data described here.
What data we collect and why
Business and general inquiries: name, company, country, email, phone, area of interest, and message. We use this data to respond to your request.
Job applications (Talent Pool): name, phone, email, area of interest, résumé and, if you choose to provide it, whether you have a disability. We use this data in recruitment processes based on your consent. Disability information is sensitive data and is used only for affirmative-action positions and accommodations during the selection process.
Visit requests: name and contact details of the person responsible, date and purpose of the visit, and the visitor list (name, ID document, occupation, email, and mobile phone). We use this data to assess and organize the visit and to control access and safety on the property.
Buyers (Sales) and suppliers (Purchasing): business contact details and company information and, for rural producers, information about the property. We use this data to assess and develop commercial relationships.
How long we keep it
Job applications: up to 2 years after submission, or until you ask us to delete them.
Visit requests: up to 1 year after the date of the visit.
Business contacts, buyers, and suppliers: for as long as there is a commercial relationship or legitimate interest, and afterwards for the period required by law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is accessed only by the Special Fruit teams responsible for each matter.
We use technology services to operate the website and store responses, such as Google (Google Drive and Google Sheets, where form responses and attachments are stored) and HomeHost (website hosting). These providers may store data on servers outside Brazil, with protection safeguards compatible with the LGPD.
We may also share data when required by law or by a competent authority.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking tools. The Google map shown on the contact page may use Google’s own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.
Your rights
You may at any time ask us to confirm whether we process your data; access, correct, update, or delete it; request portability; find out who it has been shared with; and withdraw your consent.
To exercise your rights or contact our data protection officer, write to sac@specialfruit.com.br. We reply within 15 days.
Security
We apply technical and administrative measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration, such as access restricted to the responsible teams and encrypted connections.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
